I was pleasantly surprised to find the "Blixed" site that lead me to your blog today! I also took issue with the small width of Blix, so I created a theme called Blix1000. I increased the width, text size and re-created all of the icons. I also re-vised the "asides" style. Many people like to start with an existing theme and personalize it. I created a plugin called "MultiBlix" so anyone could have this ability. From the control panel, they can use a color-picker to change colors on the site as well as the header image. I have not tested MultiBlix with the "Blixed" theme, but will soon and hopefully I can add this theme to the others that are compatible! Great work!
