Vidiyal

We are really really proud to release our latest theme “Vidiyal“.

“Vidiyal” - in Tamil means, “the dawn of a new day”. Its a new beginning. Its a brand new day.

This theme is also a new beginning in the way things are organized within this theme.

Theme is updated on Dec 07 2007, for support for Tags in WordPress 2.3.

It is a 2-column theme, with a lot of features including

  1. Custom header image support
  2. Sidebar widgets plugin support
  3. Support for Tags in WordPress 2.3
  4. Automatic page navigation
  5. Pages shows a list of sub-pages when exists.
  6. Archives Page Template
  7. Contact Page Template
  8. Links Page Template
  9. Images within the post can be assigned with class=”left” or class=”right” to position them on the left or right side of the post.
  10. 404 Page template, that displays the list of most recent posts to anyone landing on a 404 page.
  11. Archive View / Search Results view pages.

The main feature I like is the way it highlights the latest post and the way you can easily add some introduction about you right at the top of the page.

    Hi Sadish!

    What a beautifull theme did you create! I really love it and I started using it on one of my 2 weblogs.
    I have a questionfor you. Where can I change the text allign of my posts?
    I used to have it “justify” but I don’t know where to change that. Your Search bar is also different. Is that an additional plugin?
